Restore Power and Performance with Newly Reformulated AMSOIL P.I. Gasoline Additive

Newly reformulated AMSOIL P.I. (Performance Improver) provides unsurpassed fuel economy and performance. Today’s fuels vary in quality and additive treat levels.  Although a certain level of detergent additive is required by law to be formulated into gasoline, cost restrictions cause refineries to use low quality additives in the lowest additive concentration (LAC), a level insufficient to prevent deposit accumulation.  As a result, deposits accumulate on fuel injectors, intake valves and combustion chambers, often within just a few thousand miles, disrupting spray patterns, affecting electronic sensors and causing a multitude of problems.

The newly formulated AMSOIL P.I. Performance Improver is the most potent gasoline additive available today.  As a concentrated detergent, it is unsurpassed in cleaning combustion chamber deposits, intake valve deposits and port fuel injector deposits, eliminating the need for expensive fuel injector cleaning procedures.  The product is ideal for use prior to emissions inspections. It also helps maintain peak engine efficiency, fuel economy, power and drivability in newer low mileage engines.  In engines with accumulated deposits, testing showed AMSOIL P.I. provided the following clean-up benefits after only one tank of gasoline:

ENGINE FLUSH (AEF) 
AMSOIL Fast Acting Engine Flush is made from a carefully selected blend of solvents and special cleaning agents that dissolve and disperse harmful deposits formed in the crankcase, cylinder walls, pistons and rings of an internal combustion engine. When used as directed, it cleans and restores operating efficiency to valves, valve lifters, rocker arms, and pistons for improved horsepower, fuel economy, and performance. Use before changing oil.

Even though you may follow a routine service schedule, your driving conditions may be far from routine. Stop and go driving, prolonged periods of idling, short trips that don't allow your engine time to warm up, towing a trailer, the ingestion of airborne dirt, fuel dilution, water condensation, and oxidized oil will eventually cause the formation of a thick, gummy deposit known as sludge. Settling throughout the engine, sludge will clog oil passages, restricting the flow of oil to vital engine parts, especially in the upper valve train areas.

CETANE DIESEL BOOST (ACB)
An ashless, alcohol-free additive that improves cetane up to seven points for increased power and performance in all diesel engines.

AMSOIL Cetane Boost Additive improves diesel fuel quality that benefits all diesel engines, especially high performance designs. Supported by extensive testing and years of field trial use, AMSOIL Cetane Boost Additive has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to improve diesel engine performance. DIESEL CONCENTRATE (ADF)
Diesel Concentrate Performance Fuel Additive (ADF) Total system cleaner and lubricity improver for all types of diesel engines. Improves the performance, fuel efficiency and longevity of diesel engines while reducing deposits, black smoke and emissions. Improves fuel economy by cleaning dirty injectors and restores horsepower. Designed for use in heavy-duty diesel engines.

AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate (ADF) provides maximum diesel operating efficiency. It compensates for the variances in quality of different fuels (including biodiesel) and the deficiencies of today’s Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (ULSD) for better engine operation. New engine technology, tighter tolerances and emission regulations require high-quality diesel fuel for long-term engine operability. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate meets the low sulfur mandate. SERIES 2000 OCTANE BOOST (AOB)
Maximizes power and improves performance in all two-cycle and four-cycle gasoline engines. Increases octane number up to seven points. Reduces engine knock, improves ignition and engine response, helps fuel burn cleaner and inhibits corrosion. Recommended for off-road and racing use.

AMSOIL Series 2000 Octane Boost improves the performance of all two-cycle and four-cycle gasoline-fueled engines. Just one treatment significantly increases engine response and power. POWER FOAM ENGINE CLEANER AND DEGREASER (APF)
AMSOIL Power Foam removes gum, varnish and carbon deposits for more efficient fuel economy and improved overall engine performance. AMSOIL Power Foam cleans intake valves, intake manifolds and throttle plates to keep the combustion intake system running at peak efficiency. Effective in both two-cycle and four-cycle engines, AMSOIL Power Foam eliminates engine ping and keeps carburetors and injector systems properly tuned. AMSOIL Power Foam is safe for fuel injectors, catalytic converters and emission control devices. It will not damage seals, gaskets, rubber or plastic materials commonly used in gasoline engines. GASOLINE STABILIZER (AST)
It is difficult to drain all of the fuel from equipment before storage, and doing so would expose the system to other problems, including the formation of rust and corrosion on the bare metal in the tank and fuel system and the drying and cracking of gaskets and seals. Some fuels are pre-treated with oxidation inhibitors that allow them to be stored for short periods without forming excessive deposits, while other fuels have no inhibitors at all. AMSOIL Gasoline Stabilizer (AST) reduces the oxidation process that occurs when fuel is stored for extended periods, improving performance, extending equipment life and decreasing maintenance expenses.

ENGINE FOGGING OIL (FOG)
Offers superior film retention, providing long-term protection against corrosion and dry starts, extending engine life and reducing operating expenses. Its aerosol spray formulation offers easy and clean applications, while reaching more components and offering better distribution than straight motor oil.

Two- and four-stroke recreational vehicles, hand-held power equipment, small engines, construction and farm equipment are commonly operated seasonally or infrequently, then stored for long periods of time. During these periods of inactivity, and as a result of fluctuations in ambient temperatures, water vapor can form condensate within the engine. When this condensate comes into direct contact with steel and iron components, it forms surface corrosion on cylinder liners, piston rings, anti-friction bearings and steel/iron contact surfaces on rotational seals. Long periods of storage can also dry out cylinders, often resulting in permanent damage when the equipment is taken out of storage and dry started. In addition, fuel within stored equipment tends to oxidize and form varnish and sludge deposits that clog injectors, fuel lines and carburetors, stick floats and cause poor engine performance, starting problems, increased maintenance expenses and decreased equipment life.

DIESEL COLD FLOW IMPROVER (DFF)
A premium fuel additive that lowers diesel fuel cold flow properties as much as 20°F (11°C). AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver for diesel fuel is designed for use in Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (ULSD) and conventional fuels. It functions by modifying wax crystal formation at low temperatures to depress the pour point and improve cold flow filtration properties. AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver contains jet fuel-type deicer to help prevent ice formation in fuels contaminated with water. It is recommended for use with all diesel engines and is compatible with diesel exhaust particulate filters (DPFs). AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver is recommended for use in #2 diesel fuel, #1 diesel fuel, kerosene, heating oil and biodiesel. Add AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver to diesel fuel above the fuel cloud point, which is the temperature wax crystals begin to form. Diesel fuel cloud point varies greatly with some lesser-quality diesel fuels forming wax as warm as 40° F (4°C). AMSOIL recommends treating diesel fuel at a minimum of 32°F (0°C), insuring the fuel is properly treated inmost every case. AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver is designed to control wax crystal formation. It does not reverse wax or gel once formed.
