Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy-Duty Diesel Oil (HDD)

AMSOIL Series 3000 100% Synthetic 5W-30 Diesel Oil (HDD) delivers extraordinary lubrication in both diesel and gasoline engines found in commercial, fleet and personal vehicles. By combining the industry’s premier synthetic technology with AMSOIL premium additives, AMSOIL HDD exceeds the higher performance demands of modern engines. It withstands the stress of higher heat, higher acid levels and excessive soot loading found in EGR equipped engines.

Please read over the latest HDD DATA BULLENTIN (updated on 05/09/07).

AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Diesel Oil consistently outperforms conventional and synthetic diesel oils for long-lasting performance and protection. AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world’s first API qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL The First in Synthetics® to do the best job protecting your engine. Extends Drain Intervals AMSOIL HDD can extend drain intervals far beyond those recommended for conventional oils. Its unique synthetic formulation and long drain additive system deliver the best possible engine protection, cleanliness and performance over extended drain intervals, reducing vehicle maintenance and waste oil disposal costs. Maximizes Fuel Economy AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil is energy efficient for reduced fuel costs. Its low viscosity minimizes “drag” associated with high viscosity oils, allowing the engine to operate more freely, maximizing power and fuel economy.

Unsurpassed Protection Against Engine Wear In the Four-Ball Wear Test (ASTM D-4172B) AMSOIL HDD demonstrated better anti-wear performance than competitive petroleum and synthetic oils. Even under high temperatures and pressures, its superior film strength and anti-wear additives help prevent metal-to-metal contact. AMSOIL HDD reduces ring wear, cylinder bore polishing, oil consumption and valve train wear for improved engine life and lower maintenance costs. Controls Soot Thickening and Wear AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil is heavily fortified with detergent/dispersant additives and is naturally resistant to soot. It keeps soot particles suspended independently, preventing them from attaching together to form larger, wear-causing particles. Viscosity increase is minimized and soot related wear is controlled. Reduces Oil Consumption and Emissions AMSOIL HDD loses only 6.7% of its mass to high temperature volatility (evaporation) in the NOACK test, outperforming all conventional oils. Because less oil vapor passes into the combustion chamber, oil consumption and emissions are reduced. Additionally, lower volatility helps AMSOIL HDD retain its viscosity after high temperature service for continued dependable protection and excellent fuel economy.

Excels in Extreme Temperatures AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil resists thermal (heat) breakdown, oxidation and sludge formation better than conventional oils. And unlike conventional petroleum oils, AMSOIL HDD contains no wax. It stays fluid down to -60°F for improved cold temperature oil flow, reduced bearing wear and easier starting.

AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Premium Diesel Oil (DEO)

AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Premium Diesel Oil (DEO)

The premium choice for API CJ-4 emission quality diesel oil required by model year 2007 and newer diesel engines. It delivers extraordinary lubrication in diesel engines found in commercial, fleet and personal vehicles. Built with the latest additive and synthetic base oil technology, AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil exceeds the higher performance demands of modern engines. It withstands the stress of heat, soot and acids to help prevent deposits, corrosion and wear. AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40, with its broad viscosity range, is ideal for winter and summer use. It resists breakdown and can extend drain intervals when monitored by oil analysis. AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world's first API qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972.

Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL The First in Synthetics® to do the best job protecting your engine. Exceeds Emission System Requirements AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil is a low sulfated ash formulation that exceeds the modern requirements for low emission quality diesel oil. It is compatible with all exhaust treatment devices and is designed to extend the service life of particulate filters. Controls Soot Thickening and Wear The advanced synthetic base oils in AMSOIL 5W-40 Diesel Oil are naturally resistant to soot contamination. Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO)

Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO)
AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO) features a dual-base of premium synthetic and hydro-processed base oils in formulation with proven high quality anti-wear additives. This multi-use oil is designed for both heavy-duty diesel engines (including modern EGR units) and gasoline engines, combining versatility and heavy-duty engine protection into one cost effective motor oil. It is formulated with high levels of dispersant and detergent additives that effectively control acids and soot thickening to prevent corrosion, wear and deposits. AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil is excellent for all season use in on or off road applications. Maximizes Fuel Economy, Minimizes Oil Consumption and Emissions The synthetic base oil component in AMSOIL PCO reduces oil volatility (burn-off). Less make-up oil is required to replace volatilized oil and less oil vapor gets into the exhaust stream. Oil viscosity increase is controlled, which minimizes drag for better efficiency. Improved Extreme Temperature Performance Unlike other semi-synthetic oils, AMSOIL PCO contains a high content of quality synthetic oils for enhanced performance. Heat and oxidation resistance are improved for clean engine operation and long lasting engine oil service life. Dependable cold temperature flow is assured for easier start-up and improved post start-up protection. Here is the latest (05/09/07) DATA BULLENTIN on PCO.

Synthetic 10W-30/SAE 30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil (ACD)

AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-30/SAE 30 Diesel Oil (ACD) is formulated with premium synthetic base oils that exceed both 10W-30 multi-grade and SAE 30 straight-grade viscosity requirements for outstanding performance in modern and older diesel engines. Unlike conventional SAE 30 motor oils, AMSOIL ACD has a naturally high viscosity index and does not contain paraffin (wax). It has a -36°F pour point and qualifies for SAE 10W, making it an “all season” multi-grade lubricant with a wide operating temperature range. AMSOIL ACD is formulated without viscosity index improver's (VI). This shear stable formulation stops viscosity loss and associated bearing and cylinder bore wear. AMSOIL ACD contains premium additives with a high 12 TBN to neutralize acids from blow-by, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and high sulfur diesel fuels.
