4-Stroke Outboard Motor Warranty Certified
Formula 4-Stroke® Marine Synthetic Motor Oil is certified by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for use in four-stroke outboard motors. This high quality oil demonstrates outstanding performance, exceeding the NMMA “FC-W” (Four Cycle-Water) specification requirements. Formula 4-Stroke® Marine Synthetic Motor Oil fulfills the warranty requirements of four-stroke outboard motor manufacturers.

Superior Protection Against Engine Wear
Marine engines operate under high loads and RPMs for extended periods of time, causing traditional automotive oils to break down and lose viscosity. To ensure good protection, the NMMA set minimum shear stability requirements for FC-W. AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke® Marine Synthetic Motor Oil greatly exceeds the FC-W shear stability requirements, outperforming competitive oils to deliver a superior lubricating film. While automobile engines normally operate at around 2,500 rpm, outboard motors can run twice as fast, requiring greater levels of wear protection and better bearing durability than automobiles. In addition, prolonged idling and low operating temperatures contribute to fuel dilution, further thinning the oil. To ensure adequate protection for their engines, marine engine manufacturers set minimum high temperature/high shear (HTHS) viscosity limits. AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke®Marine Synthetic Motor Oils are shear stable and formulated with sophisticated oil additive chemistry, exceeding the HTHS requirements of both the API and NMMA FC-W (see graph).

AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine Motor Oil (AME) is a premium diesel oil providing excellent performance in all types of diesel engines where highly effective control of wear and deposits is vital. Advanced Soot and Wear Control Formula
AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine Motor Oil is heavily fortified with detergent/dispersant additives and is naturally resistant to soot. It keeps soot particles suspended independently, preventing them from attaching together to form larger, wear-causing particles. Viscosity increase is minimized and soot related wear is controlled.

Maximizes Fuel Economy, Reduces Oil Consumption and Emissions
AMSOIL AME has lower high temperature volatility (evaporation) than conventional petroleum oils. Because less oil vapor passes into the combustion chamber, oil consumption and emissions are reduced. APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel & Marine Motor Oil is engineered for use in a wide variety of light and heavyduty applications, including over-the-road trucks, off road construction, marine engines, farm equipment, mining, industrial (pumps & generators) and personal automotive or commercial transportation. It is excellent for use with low or high sulfur diesel fuels in standard, turbocharged or supercharged engines, including modern low emission diesels such as those equipped with EGR systems.

HP Injector Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil (HPI)
Excellent for all outboard motors with a performance emphasis on modern direct fuel injected (DFI) technology. Also recommended for personal watercraft, jet boats, motorcycles, snowmobiles and ATVs. Injector use or 50:1 premix.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease is an extreme-pressure, multipurpose grease formulated specially for wet-duty performance. Its water washout and sprayoff resistance are ideal for wheel bearings of vehicles and trailers frequently exposed to water, mud, snow or ice. It is also excellent for use in plants, such as paper mills, in which machinery undergoes frequent or prolonged exposure to water.

Water Washout and Sprayoff Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease derives its superior wet-duty performance from its peerless cohesiveness and adhesiveness. It holds together when exposed to water and clings tenaciously to metal surfaces when wet. Components remain protected during prolonged exposure to standing water or exposure to pressurized water.

Rust and Corrosion Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Lithium Complex Grease protects metal surfaces from rust and corrosion, both of which may be hastened or worsened by frequent or prolonged water contact. It seals metal surfaces against rust and chemically fights corrosion.

High and Low Temperature Performance
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease effectively reduces friction, helping high-speed components run cooler. It resists the damaging effects of high temperatures and oxidation so components stay deposit-free for optimal performance and long life.

AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease may be used in place of separate high-temperature and lowtemperature greases.

Load Carrying and Extreme Pressure Performance
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Lithium Complex Grease protects components from metal-to-metal contact even under heavy loads. Its extreme pressure additives form a shield against sustained or sudden extreme loads for dependable protection against wear.

Service and Shelf Life
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease resists oxidation, high temperature degradation and additive depletion so effectively, it may be used for longer service intervals than conventional greases. AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease also resists oil separation and offers a long shelf life.

APPLICATION
AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease meets the highest performance standards set by the National Lubrication Grease Institute (NLGI), GC for wheel bearing applications and LB for chassis applications. It may be used in automotive wheel bearings, chassis or other applications for which an NLGI No. 2 GC or LB grease is recommended. Its unique water resistant formulation makes it ideal for use in components or equipment with frequent or prolonged water exposure. AMSOIL Synthetic Water Resistant Grease is compatible with most seal materials and most other greases.
